About Us

The Society of Young Scientists was founded in 1974 due to joint efforts by Prof. Pradeep Seth and Prof. B.L. Jailkhani. The society was formed to bring together research scholars on one platform. The umbrella of SYS covers M.Sc., Ph.D., RA, JRF, SRF, Research Assistant, RO, SRO, Project Scientists and Project associates. Since its inception SYS has actively worked towards strengthening scientific cooperation among research scholars. It provides a major ground for interaction among research scholars in AIIMS, which is one of the premier institutes in India. In recent years, the society has promoted a strong cultural environment along with achieving scientific excellence in AIIMS.
